An Overview of Emotional Detox

Emotional detox is a term that has been used to describe a process of cleansing or purging negative emotions and stress from one's mind and body. While it's not a medical or psychological term recognised by mainstream science or therapy, it is often associated with self-help and holistic wellness practices.

Almost everybody looks towards someone they know to vent their innermost feelings, which they want to resolve or step out of. However, most of the time, the person they approach is a friend, relative or colleague who is untrained to address what is being shared confidently. This can cause additional stress to build up due to untrained advice.

This can help you reduce the intensity of suffering and may buy adequate time for the suffering person. Other practices in this programme can help reduce the effects of trauma abuse and help you work with emotional distress attached to memories. When you help others Free themselves from such trauma, it can have a healing impact on their body and mind.
